JDC-Miller Motorsports and GAINSCO Auto Insurance have announced that the No. 99 Red Dragon Prototype will return to American sports car racing in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship next season.
According to Canadian driver Misha Goikhberg, the No. 85 JDC-Miller Motorsports ORECA LMP2 team, in its first season of IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Prototype competition, turned a corner with its second-place result in the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen last Sunday.
Current Prototype Challenge class entrants JDC-Miller Motorsports will step up next year to field a Prototype entry in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
