NAPLES, Maine. — The Pro All Star Series (PASS) announced a tentative 18-race schedule for the 2018 North season on Saturday.

The schedule includes a total of six events at Oxford Plains Speedway, headlined by the 45th annual Oxford 250 on Aug. 26. It also is highlighted by a season-opening event as part of Icebreaker weekend at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 8.

“We believe this is another really great schedule,” PASS President Tom Mayberry said in a series release. “This year we will celebrate our 18th year of sanctioning races throughout the United States and Canada and we’re glad to begin new partnerships, while continuing to build on old ones.”

The schedule includes races at a total of 10 different tracks, across four states and Canada.

Following the Icebreaker at Thompson, the series will make their first stop of the season at Oxford on April 15, followed by a trip to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway for the first of three stops at the third-mile oval. Other events at Beech Ridge will take place on July 7 and Sept. 22.

Just before the halfway point of the season, drivers will make the trip across the boarder to Canada to Petty International Raceway on June 2 for an inaugural appearance.

From August 24-26, teams will look for glory in the 45th annual Oxford 250 — an event that pays $25,000 to the winner. The defending champion of the prestigious event is Curtis Gerry.

“The Oxford 250 has found a home with its August date and has solidified its place as one of short track racing’s biggest events,” Mayberry said. “We’re glad to continue that tradition in 2018.”

The final stretch of the season includes races at Beech Ridge, Thunder Road and Oxford.

Although the schedule has been released, dates are tentative and are subject to change going forward. The full schedule can be seen below.
