Salisbury, N.C. -Story by Tom Baker – It was a chilly Wednesday evening for racing at the Millbridge Speedway but the action on the track was hot all evening long. Max McLaughlin’s CraZ 8 QRC Chassis was particularly hot and that, in combination with his Joe Gibbs Racing motor, produced a dominating win for him in the Open Mini-Outlaw Feature event.
McLaughlin, 13, had several racers on his back bumper including his chassis builder Jimmy Elledge but once Max got out front he was able to stretch his advantage to a straightaway and keep his competition at bay. Elledge finished second in the race, with Chaz Woodward having one of his best runs of the year to come home in third. Fourth went to Tom Hubert in the No. 30 and Nick Tucker rounded out the top five in his SKE Chassis No. 70.

In other feature action, Hunter Kohn got the win in the Beginner Box Stock race but was subsequently disqualified in post race tech so young Kennedy Elledge was awarded the victory over fellow female racer Tiffany Claridge.
Karsyn Elledge continued her fantastic season in the Nickolodeon No. 3 kart when she took home the checkered flag in the Box Stock division. Slater finished second with Macy Scearce third.
Dawson “D.C.” Cram moved over from the INEX Bandolero class on pavement to race an SKE Chassis on the dirt on Wednesday and copped the victory in the 125 Mini Outlaw class over the No. 21 of Jimmy Allen.
In the Clone Kart Class, it was K.C. Otto achieving a convincing victory over John Galati.
